Recording Terms and Conditions
Session bookings, times and dates are subject to availability. Jump Off Studios reserve the right to refuse and reschedule any confirmed bookings.

Booking a session
Start/End of sessions
The session clock begins at the scheduled time that both parties agree upon. If you arrive early and the studio can accommodate an early start, then the session clock will begin at that time. If you are late for any reason, you will be charged from the scheduled session start time, with no exceptions. Please call if you are going to be late! Set up time will be billed at regular studio rates unless other arrangements are agreed to. This includes load-in and instrument setup, microphone placement, level setting, media transfer, etc.
Payment
Jump Off Studios charges $50 (fifty dollars) an hour for studio time. There is a two hour minimum for each recording session and we ask for a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The fee includes both recording and setup time. Please keep in mind that a larger band will require a longer setup time. Editing and mixing prices also depend on the recorded material ($50/hr). These rates do not include mastering or distribution. Mixing and Mastering of a track will normally run two to three hours.
It is not necessary to be present for setup; the staff will make sure that everything is ready to go by our agreed start time. However, it is important to be on time and prepared to start recording at the agreed upon time to ensure you get the most out of your studio time.
Cancellation
24 hours notice is required for the cancellation of a session; this includes weekends and holidays. No Call/No shows that have paid a deposit will result in loss of monies and studio time, non refundable. Cancellations as a result of adverse weather conditions such as snow will be rescheduled.
Damage to studio property
In the event a piece of studio gear owned by Jump Off Studios or any part of its facility becomes damaged by you, or anyone in your party, due to negligence, accident, or willful act, you agree to provide monetary compensation in the amount of full replacement value of the damaged item. Damage to the studio property of any kind that are a result of anyone in client's party or group will be assessed to client's account.
Lost personal property
Jump Off Studios is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen gear left behind.
